Cusco and Puno will be presented as destinations for experiential tourism.

Experiential tourism is increasingly attractive to those who visit our country, who choose to experience closely the ethnographic and cultural variety of Peru. Therefore, our destinations in this segment will be presented to Brazilian tour operators in the framework of the ‘Peru: Tourism and Experimental Traditions’ conference, organized by the Brazilian Tour Operators Association (Braztoa), as part of their Northeast Braztoa Experience initiative. The event will take place today from 9:30 am to 7 pm in Salvador de Bahia.

Milagros Ochoa, representative of the Peruvian Commercial Office in Brazil, will lead the conversation and, through videos, photos and information, will present to the participating travel agents the tourist wealth, culture, gastronomy, geographical diversity, variety of segments and legacy Historical and archaeological of our country. In addition, there will be the testimony of a professional from the Brazilian Sector about his travel experiences in Peru.

It should be noted that the main Peruvian regions that will be presented at the event to practice experiential or community tourism will be Cusco and Puno. There will also be a couple dressed in typical Puno costumes.
